What is Krav Maga?

The most effective self-defence system in the world

What is
Krav Maga?

Krav Maga is a realistic and effective form of self-defence. It teaches you how to protect yourself against a potential attacker or multiple attackers, regardless of your size, gender or situation.

Krav Maga is based on natural behaviour and an essential part of this tactical system is it’s teaching process, which makes it quick and easy to learn. Krav Maga training is also great fun and you’ll improve your fitness too.

Krav Maga teaches you how to recognise difficult situations and gives you the tools to deal with them efficiently.

Krav Maga Global

Krav Maga Global (KMG) only teaches the genuine system of Krav Maga. Created and developed by Imi Lichtenfeld and the Israeli Defence Force (IDF), Krav Maga only came into civilian life in 1965. Since then, the system has been continually developed and updated by the Global Chief Instructor of KMG and closest assistant to Imi, Eyal Yanilov. Eyal is the only person in the world to hold the highest grade ever given by Imi (Master Level 3/Expert Level 8).

KMG has grown to be the largest and most professional Krav Maga organization in the world, trains and educates civilian students and instructors, law-enforcement officers and instructors, military personnel and instructors, as well as security and close protection officers and their instructors. Assisted by his Global Training Team, Eyal now travels worldwide teaching and promoting the Krav Maga system.
